Certes Networks’ CN1000 SONET/SDH Encryptors are high performance encryption platforms that provide full duplex AES encryption at 155Mbps (OC-3) to 2488.32Mbps (OC-48), while the CN3000 SONET/SDH Encryptor provides support for 9953.28Mbps (OC-192) connections.

The Certes Networks SONET/SDH encryptor can secure both path and line connections. The encryptors operate at full line speed without loss of frames. On an OC-48 link, latency measured at 10 microseconds.

For organizations with SONET or SDH network architectures, the Certes Networks SONET/SDH Encryptor provides low latency AES encryption designed to secure synchronous optical networks at speeds up to 10Gbps.

Designed to integrate transparently and seamlessly into SONET or SDH network architectures, the SONET/SDH provides protocol transparent encryption with extremely low latency for OC-3, OC12, OC-48 and OC-192 connections.

The Certes Networks SONET/SDH Encryptors are managed by CypherManager with management connections through an RJ45 connector on the front panel or a Command Line Interface connection through a DB9 RS232 serial socket.
