Certes Networks™ Fibre Channel encryptors are high performance encryption platforms that provide point to point encryption for 1, 2, and 4 Gbps Fibre Channel networks.

Fibre Channel has become the standard connection type for SANs in enterprise storage and is typically used by organizations to transport critical data to distributed servers at remote locations.

Protecting sensitive data on storage backbones is critical for data resiliency. The Certes Networks Fibre Channel Encryptor has been designed to integrate transparently and seamlessly into storage infrastructures and provides real-time encryption for sensitive data in transit.

The Certes Networks Fibre Channel Encryptor is a high performance, purpose built integrated security solution that meets the Storage Network Industry Association (SNIA) best practice recommendations that data must be encrypted in transit between data centers.

The Certes Networks Fibre Channel Encryptors are managed by CypherManager with management connections through an RJ45 connector on the front panel or a Command Line Interface connection through a DB9 RS232 serial socket.
