Certes Networks’ ATM Encryptors are high performance encryption platforms that provide encryption within Asynchronous Transfer Mode networks.

The Certes Networks ATM encryptor can be used to secure both Permanent Virtual paths (PVP) and Permanent Virtual Circuits (PVC) connections. They operate at full line speed without loss of cells and latency is determined by the transmission speed.

For organizations that utilize Asynchronous Transfer Mode networks, the Certes Networks ATM Encryptor provides low latency AES encryption for while retaining ATM’s inherent Quality of Service levels.

The Certes Networks ATM encryptor encrypts ATM virtual path (PVP) and virtual circuit (PVC) connections at full line rates from 1.5Mbps (T1) to 622Mbps (OC12) with no impact on network performance.

For ATM links where network performance cannot be compromised, the Certes Networks ATM encryptor is the perfect choice. The solution is transparent to user traffic, compatible with ATM interface standards and allows selective encryption of each virtual circuit or path.

The Certes Networks ATM Encryptors are managed by CypherManager with management connections through an RJ45 connector on the front panel or a Command Line Interface connection through a DB9 RS232 serial socket.
